The Chamberlain-a house with elegance and location
Ours is an open design and completely refurbished home, with modern elegance including polished timber floor boards, plantation shutters and A/C in every room, Nick Scali high end furniture and finishes, as well as beautiful high ceilings. Our close proximity (2 minute walk) to the Airport train line, Sydney city, cinemas, parks, shopping, buses ... makes our destination truly unique and guarantees a fabulous holiday destination. Our large quiet street also lends itself to a good nights sleep! Our home has been fully renovated to an opulent standard with polished timber floor boards and all the latest mod cons. We have a large modern kitchen with adjoining dining, and large generous living area. All furnishings are from Nick Scali with an added edge of elegance. Ours is essentially a one level home ... easy on the knees (a few steps into the back yard). Ours is a unique home close to all you will need for a fabulous stay. We are situated on a quiet street with literally a 2 minute stroll to everything you will need, such as shops, 2 parks (one with BBQ facilities & play equipment), the train (on the Airport line) and buses. We are also a 5 minute drive to the cinema, both Riverwood & Roselands shopping centres and Hurstville Westfield. The Sydney city centre is a comfortable 30 minutes by train. There are so many wonderful things to do around us. You can take a 10 minute drive to Oatley park .... a day experience! Perhaps go to Beverly Hills twin cinemas, always something for everyone, then head off to one of the many restaurants along the restaurant strip next to the cinema. If Spas are more your thing, you will have a myriad to choose from. Shopping abounds at Roselands or Hurstville Westfield. If grocery shopping is what you are after there are many just around the corner, and Woolworths is a few minutes drive to Riverwood shops or Coles at Roselands. Aldi is at both destinations. Our buses also go to Hurstville and Roselands if that is easier. You can also take the train directly into the city (Town Hall) and take a short walk to Darling Harbour or Barangaroo and see the Aquarium, Animal farm, shopping, take a boat trip around the harbour, perhaps a lunch cruise, or stop at one of the many restaurants. Perhaps even check out the Star casino, Luna Park or Vivid (check dates). My favorite is Circular Quay... see the Opera House, the Harbour bridge, Luna Park, the Rocks, and grab a bite at one of the many eateries. The weekend Rocks market is a fabulous day out on it's own. If the beach is more your thing, then rather than going to Bondi, I would suggest Cronulla beach ... the opposite direction, but a great beach with ocean pools, and a 5 minute walk from the train line to the ocean. Lovely parks and a wonderful mall. A great place if you want to see a great piece of Australia (But don't tell everyone... we try to keep it quiet :-). I will be giving you lots of other ideas in our house folder! No parties allowed Maximum of 3 weeks stay unless additional time approved by the owner No booking can be taken from anyone under 21 years of age
