Chambre d'hote / B&B - a spacious ground floor bedroom with king size bed, Egyptian cotton bed sheets & feather duvet with a separate private shower & toilet. A continental breakfast is included and Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, fresh fruit and water also provided in the room. The old stone house has just undergone a complete renovation and is situated in a historic village on a quiet street, appx 9km from Mirepoix. You are welcome to share the roof terrace and the open plan living room with myself and occasionally my cat. Breakfast is included and can be served either in your room, or on the terrace or on the old oak bench in the morning sun at the front of the house. Lagarde is a small, quiet historic village 9km from Mirepoix. At the edge of village sits Chateau de Lagarde, an old castle ruin. The area is wonderful for walking and cycling, with the National walkway GR7 passing just by the front door. The house has undergone a complete renovation in the last year and the living space now incorporates the barn next door, which includes a little outdoor courtyard. No public transport available. There are free car parking spaces in the two village squares. Airport transfers can be arrange with prior notice as can picnic lunch and evening meals. The bathroom is separate from the bedroom but exclusively for guest use.
