We live in the cottage but are in a separate area in the evening and we like for you to feel it's also your home away from home. Okeford Fitzpaine is a wonderful and picturesque rural village and famous for its connections to Dorset smugglers. It has a village pub (five minutes walk away). A village shop and post office and ancient church. We have many stunning walks around us and are happy to give you as much information about these as you need. The area is part of the national cycle network and there are several cycle routes that are popular and we also have secure storage for bikes if you bring your own. We also have two adult bicycles for you to use and a children's buggy that fits on one of them. We have an inflatable kayak , life jackets etc as you can kayak on parts of the River and we are also 40 mins from the seaside. We are within easy reach of the following towns and cities. Poole. Bournemouth. Dorchester. Blandford . Southampton. Salisbury Glastonbury. Yeovil. Nearest train station 40 minutes. Limited rural bus timetable. There is a £10.00 surcharge per stay for use of the hot tub due to high Electricity prices at the moment payable at the end of your stay.
