A delightful stone cottage. The house was build in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ’s, just perched above the village green. Our holiday accommodation boasts spectacular estuary sea views. We are located just 100m from the Welcome to Town inn, a dog friendly country pub and restaurant. We are near the Welsh Coastal Path ideal for walkers. Adjcent to our home is the local church. Our holiday accommodation is ideally positioned in Gower close to wedding venues and for holidaying by the seaside. NO EXTRA CLEANING COSTS. The Space. A small but unique country style two floor open plan self catering cottage, with a double ensuite bedroom. The lower floor has a living area with a kitchenette. Includes: (Portable oven, 2 stove cooking elements. A microwave, Tefal chip fryer. Plus a toaster, kettle and fridge.) We also provide complimentary tea, coffee and milk. Number of guests. The cottage is ideal for 2 guests but has a sofa bed option for a further 2 guests (£10 extra charge per guest over 2 persons. Extra bedding and towels will be provided.) N.B the ensuite shower & toilet is to be shared by all guests. There is a TV/DVD player with Free Netflix. There is an electric fireplace with steam effect flames. Parking. We try to keep a space free just outside our house. Although we do appreciate that 1 Space is kept free for our neighbour who drives a black volvo. He parks near his house opposite. However it can be busy with weddings so if you are struggling to park then please let us know and we can arrange a space at the rear of our cottage to park. Dogs. Dogs are very welcome to stay with a charge of £15 per dog per trip. A Maximum of 2 only. Dogs are not to be left alone at the property unless you are confident that they will be happy and housed in thier own cage or bedding provided by you. BBQ. We have recently built a BBQ area outside in the garden. Please feel free to use it at your leisure. Next to the BBQ is our outside cast-iron fire. If you wish to light the fire I would recommend its only lit in calm conditions. Extra logs and fire lighters can be purchased from the local garage/shop. Guest privacy. We respect guests privacy and please make yourselves at home. Soon as you have your front door key you are free to come and go as you please. In the late summer evenings its lovely to sit outside on the garden furniture looking out at the estuary sea views. With a glass of your favourite tipple. All we ask in return is to consider the neighbours. We are very friendly and we always enjoy meeting our guests. Guest Access. The Stable accommodation is attached to the main house however it is uniquely separate. It has its own front gated entrance. Some people miss out on magical places because they head straight for the beaches and who can blame them. However Llanrhdian village has some amazing senary that attracts walkers from near and far. Weobley Castle is easy reachable from Llanrhdian, just a 30 to 40 minute walk along the Welsh Coastal Path. And finally not forgetting the Welcome to Town inn just close by for great food and local ales. Mikes local Taxi (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) If you are going to a local wedding then I suggest you book in advance. A Swansea taxi will charge you a lot more to drive from Swansea to a wedding in North Gower. Bus services run to Swansea and Gower locations. The nearest bus stop is on the main road near the Esso garage, Llanrhdian. Top of hill, 3 min walk. Other notes. The Purple Badger holiday park is open to the general public with a bar and restaurant. It has Sky TV. Pool table. A children's Play area and a laundry service. (15 to 20 min walk or 2 min drive). There are great surfing beaches on Gower, Llangennith being the most popular. Pj's surf shop hire out surf boards, wetsuits and can offer surfing lessons. Or you can use our surfboard free. Numerous Gower castles. Weobley Castle within walking distance. (30 to 40 mins walk). Llanrhdian Marsh is abundant with wildlife and is a very popular bird watching area. The local garage has a mini supermarket and Post office.
