The property is recently under new ownership and has been refurbished, furnished and decorated. Situated in Tarbet and 100 metres from the shores of Loch Lomond, Still Brae is in the heart of one of Scotland’s most idyllic and sought after locations. Still Brae sleeps up to five guests and offers a memorable experience. The lower level has two bedrooms: The master bedroom with double aspect windows, has a double bed with an en suite bathroom with WC, sink and bath with an over bath shower and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 also double aspect windows is a delightful family room featuring a double bed with with single bunk above. There is a walk in shower in the adjoining room. A separate WC is across the entrance hall. Upstairs leads to a bright , airy open plan living space with kitchen, dining and lounge area. The Kitchen is fully equipped including fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/drier. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and chairs and occasional tables. Sky tv, a DVD and video player. A wide range of books, board games, videos and DVDs A flame effect electric fire provides a cosy focus point. The house has a garden area with picnic table and seats, a small pond and parking for 2 cars. Nikki (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The pier at Tarbet has fabulous views of Loch Lomond with various pleasure cruises taking you round the numerous small islands on the loch or over to Inversnaid and Rowerdennan on the east side of the Loch for access to Ben Lomond. The Arrochar Alps are close by, these are a group of mountains located around the head of Loch Long. The Tarbet Hotel is about 200 metres away offering lunches and dinner and the Slanj Restaurant is close by. There is a grocery store at Slanj too. Regular trains from Glasgow to Tarbet/Arrochar station, 1/2 a mile away and buses from Glasgow to Campbeltown and Oban via Tarbet, check the citylink website.
