Peacefully situated within the grounds of Village Farm and conveniently located, to Bristol, Filton, the Severn Bridge, the M48, M4 and M5 motorways, as well as the local market town of Thornbury. Free wifi and car parking. The Cart House is a modern self contained unit with its own entrance. It is all on one level making it accessible to all. It is situated in a rural village, yet with easy access to network links. It has an open plan kitchen/living area, a wet room and bedroom with double bed. Guests can access the garden and there is parking outside the unit. For those looking to travel with friends The Cart House is one of two self-contained units (the other being The Harness Room) that are available to rent. We live on site in another property (parking area is shared) so we are on- hand to answer questions and guide you around the locality. We are only a couple of miles from the old Severn bridge in a quiet rural village surrounded by farm land with views over the Severn Estuary. There is a very popular country pub - The White Hart, Littleton. This is either a short drive away or there are public footpaths that can be walked to get to the pub. The village of Olveston is a mile away and has the following amenities: village shop, post office, butchers, pub and bakers. Thornbury is a market town that is a few miles away and has a selection of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping facilities. The Mall at Cribbs Causeway has a large selection of major retailers as well as restaurants and a cinema. Bristol city centre is easily accessible and offers Cabot Circus for shopping as well as many other attractions. The Cart House offers the best of both worlds for those wanting a rural retreat but not wanting to be too far off the beaten track. The M48 motorway is only a couple of miles away which is the gateway to the Old Severn Bridge and access to Wales, or connects you to the M4/M5 interchange (Aztec West) within about 10/15mins. Bristol Parkway Train Station is less than 10miles away. The barn is let out on a self catered basis. Tea, coffee and milk will be provided on your arrival.
