Romance awaits at the Down at The Dale "RETREAT"

Situated in Conondale, around 13 kilometres North-West of the Maleny Township, Down at The Dale is a private, luxury-farm escape for couples. The cabins look out over the Conondale ranges. Serene sunsets, starlit skies, and a warm outdoor fire for toasting marshmallows and cosy nights, make this scenic romantic getaway the perfect country escape. The Retreat Cabin is the perfect place to sit back, sip some wine and admire the beauty of the Hinterland landscape. Further into the property, and tucked away for privacy, The Retreat is located on the side of one of the farm’s lush, green hills; perched high to be the perfect vantage point for lovers of sunsets. Decorated in a modern industrial style, and furnished with a soft relaxing palette, The Retreat is the perfect place to sit back, sip some wine and admire the beauty of the Hinterland landscape. With a magnificent queen bed, tranquil outdoor bath and a warm fire pit, the cabin was built May to July 2020. The area is completely private and accessible up a separate driveway from the main house. You will have full access to the cabin and it's surrounding area. Our home and cattle farming area are not accessible to guests, however feel free to hike down the dam and around the property (please just be mindful of closed gates - as we don't want any escapee animals!) Our family live on the site in a private residence, acres away from the cabin. We will be pleased to meet with you and show you around the space and animals on site or if you want that feeling of a completely private escape, we are happy to have you self check-in and just enjoy the sounds of the bell birds in the trees. Our location is perfect for that out-of-town feeling. We're only 15 minutes west of the hustle and beauty of Maleny and 15 minutes east of the gorgeous country town of Kenilworth. Scenic drives through the Sunshine Coast hinterland are available any way you turn, and a 40 minute drive east will find you on the shore of the beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. Outdoor parking is available on the property if you are driving to us - just look out for the Down at The Dale sign at the entrance of our property on Maleny-Kenilworth Road. Otherwise, our closest train station is Landsborough (which is about a 25 taxi ride from the property). This station is on the North Coast line which connects to Brisbane. We have a minimum of 2 nights however if you are looking at 1 night only, please get in touch via our web page and we will see if we can make that work for you.
