Our homely wooden cabin is a new addition to our 4 acer smallholding, tucked down a quiet lane just a couple of minutes drive from Cardigan. Golygfa, meaning ‘nice view’ is a name of our home that is on top of a little hill overlooking the Teifi gorge. Stunning views towards the Preseli hills, just a stones throw from Poppit Sands and Mwnt beach. Our cabin is a very compact space. All in one - kitchen with hot water, two ring portable gas cooker, little fridge, 2 beds 120cm wide - so either get cosy on one or have a king size single each (the 2nd bed is in mezzanine). Dinning table on veranda, flushable toilet, simple shower, veggie patch few steps away providing you with a home grown produce. Clutch of chickens will lay you a morning egg. Wifi does not reach to the cabin but you can get signal oh the veranda and in the garden. We hope that the outdoor space - lovely garden with orchard where squirrel is our daily guest, big field with deer seeking for a fresh grass, and a beautiful scenery where evenings can be spent watching the sun set over Cardigan and the hills beyond will make up for the small indoor space. We feel that our village of Llangoedmor is ideally located for quick and easy access to our local market town of Cardigan and all the beaches of South Ceredigion and North Pembrokeshire, including Aberporth, Mwnt and Poppit Sands. Day trips to New Quay, St. Davids and Tenby are all within an hours drive. The area locally is ideal for outdoor sports and activities such as coasteering, river and sea kayaking, climbing, nature trails and the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coastal paths. Lots of parking space, easy access, huge garden, orchard, vegetable patch and field. Rural, quite and relaxing. Cardigan is one of the top 10 places to bring up a family in the UK! Cilgerran Wildlife Park is awesome, Mwnt beach is stunning, Cardigan town is alive and colourful, best bog standard grub is the Nags Head in Abercych, 10 minutes drive. Best pubs and general good food in Newport, 20 minutes drive. Pizza Tipi is very cool, Cardigan, next to the river. Car! Bike! Run! - This is West Wales! Our cabin has a shared drive and parking with our little house, which will be also rented out during the summer months. Our surrounding 4 acre gardens and fields we feel should be shared by the users of both rentals 'in harmony' with each other, rather than us setting out any false boundaries. We hope this works for both parties who come and stay at Golygfa. There is plenty of space and nature here for everybody.
