Room One-Twenty-One

At Naarden-Vesting is our 200 year old house. It is a spacious apartment, full of light, on the top floor with all comfort. The balcony has a beautiful view of the fortifications. The breakfast consists mainly of organic products. Room One-Twenty-One is actually an ample apartment suite on the top floor. The stairs are a bit steep, in the original style, but you get easily used to it. The apartment is full of light, and includes a luxurious living room with WI FI, large screen TV, plus a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator and Nespresso coffee maker. French doors open to a balcony with a dramatic view over the earthworks. A separate bedroom features an adjustable double bed. Adjoining the bedroom is a modern bathroom with shower. The room includes assorted beverages, wine, snacks, fruit and breakfast (mainly organic). In your apartment you can decide when you want to eat breakfast, freshly prepared and put in your own kitchen. Naarden Vesting is a fortress town steeped in history, just 20 minutes away from Amsterdam. One of the few star-shaped forts left in the Netherlands, the town is completely surrounded by dikes, moats and protected by fortified walls, ramparts, draw bridges and earthworks. A 3.5km tree-lined path along the outer dikes circles the entire town. The town features many excellent restaurants, cozy pubs, a wine bar, a grocery store and shops, all within walking distance (max 3 minutes). Close by is the Naarden/Bussum train station for a direct train to Amsterdam or connections to cities in the rest of Holland. If you wish we can pick you up from Amsterdam or Airport Schiphol. Parking is available and free.
