The West Wing at Cammach House

The West Wing is a self-contained annex of Cammach House which is situated not far from the main A90 and is nestled in the countryside with a splendid outlook and the sunsets are quite stunning. You will have your own private entrance, parking space and can dine al fresco on the beautifully appointed patio area. Well behaved pets welcome. Handy for wedding venues, Elsick House, Norwood Hall, Ardoe House. Please let us know if you require single beds. We are in a rural setting looking out onto the countryside. It is very quiet as the road is only used by the local houses and there is no street lighting. Lovely location for peace and relaxation. That said we are 8 miles from the city of Aberdeen, 8 miles from the harbour town of Stonehaven, 1 mile from a small retail centre. There is a kitchen area within a large living room, separate bedroom with en Suite and own front door. French doors to private garden and patio area; outside furniture provided. 50 square meters of floor space. Private entrance, patio and off street private parking. We love meeting people and are happy to offer up ideas from our extensive knowledge of the area if asked. We are well travelled with a real love of life and always happy to help with directions, ideas, recommendations or just a chat over coffee. Review: 'Sheila is the best host I've ever encountered. She's super-friendly, left a lot food for breakfast and gave us a lot of advice on where to eat and what to see, which we did follow. She even had a 'washing up' box for used crockery and nice toiletries. The accommodation is superb, clean and very upscale, there are some locally published books relevant to local history and places of interest, pretty coffee table books and a lot of blissful silence. The bedding was lovely & shower was insanely good!' While nestled in a quiet hamlet within secluded and stunning Scottish countryside you can easily explore Royal Deeside, castles, distilleries, spectacular walks, bird reserve, ancient fishing villages as well as quality eateries right on your doorstep. The train stations nearby are in Portlethen (1 mile), Stonehaven (8 miles) and Aberdeen (8 miles). Bus stop is a three minute walk. We can help out with pick ups if required. We support good hand hygiene for guests and anyone involved with the property by providing sufficient hand sanitiser at property entry points and key areas, and also encouraging hand washing regularly with water and soap for at least 20 seconds Implement social distancing policies during check-in and check-out, and during any interactions with guests, staff and the local community. When possible, encourage minimising these interactions Recommend removing shoes when entering the property and leaving them at the entrance (if possible, outside) Antibacterial hand wipes are provided. We have two cats but she is never allowed in the West Wing.
