Cottage Ty'n Llwyn Cornel - Cosy Snowdonia Retreat

Ideal for exploring the Welsh coastline & magical mountains of the Snowdonia National Park. Constructed from local materials, the oak interiors were sourced within a mile from the land. Views of the world reknowned 'Ring of Fire', walkers & climbers will enjoy the close proximity of The Moelwyns, Cnicht and Tremadog Rocks. After a day spent outdoors, it is a delight to cosy up in front of the wood burning stove, relax in the private garden with views of the nearby steam railway and mountains, or to sit out in the sun with the sunken barbecue. Supporting local craftsman, you will notice the beautifully crafted and unique items such as the table, picture frames, stools and coat hooks. With a subtle mountain theme, you can't help but feel part of the Welsh countryside when staying in our lovely little cottage. Master bedroom is a king size bed. Guest bedroom is a twin, however it can be transformed into a king size on request. Cot, high chair and play pen available on request. Dog friendly - please inform us when booking. exclusive access to the garden and the immediate area around the cottage. Numerous public footpaths in the area. In addition to the guides and maps at the cottage, I am a qualified Mountain Leader and am more than happy to offer advice on rambling and walking activities for all abilities. If I am not around I will be sure to give you a call within your first 24 hours to say hello and check that you have settled in happily. Don't hesitate to call me to ask anything at all - I enjoy a good chat! A short walk from the cottage takes you to the Glaslyn Osprey Centre where you can watch these rare birds in their natural surroundings. The newly opened village café and shop in Llanfrothen provides delicious breakfasts, along with various educational classes for all, including art and Welsh language lessons! Just a mile away is the popular pub, Brondanw Arms (known locally as The Ring). The local village here is also famous for Plas Brondanw and Kyffin Williams. As if this wasn't enough, the cottage is just a short drive from the coast and many of the area's best visitor attractions - including the Welsh Highland Railway which is only 200m away. During the day it can be heard chugging past like from another era. Our favourite tip - head down to Black Rock Sands beach where you can drive right up to the waters edge and dance around in the sea as the sun sets into the distance across the water.
