Welcome to Strands! Just 5 mins drive from Bude and its finest beaches - located in the heart of the North Cornwall countryside. Strands is perfect for couples or families looking for a relaxing break. The gardens and countryside views are simply stunning - enjoyed from your own private area on the Mediterranean patio area. A 5 minute stroll from the house will take you into the historic old market town of Stratton with a choice of places to eat. Strands really is the perfect coastal getaway! 'Strands' is located in Bude and is the perfect location to explore both Cornwall and North Devon. We are renting the annexe within Strands which offers its own large private self-contained accommodation, and has its own front door access. A short 5 minute drive also takes you into Bude and its stunning beaches making it an ideal holiday location. The annexe adjoins the main house and is all on one level making it also suitable for people with limited mobility. It offers plenty of space with stunning views to the front and rear of the property - a great place for everyone to roam. The lounge/kitchen looks onto a beautiful front garden, with a private sectioned off area for residents on the rear patio area with seating and BBQ. The master bedroom, with a king-size memory foam bed, has its own door onto your private mediterranean patio area, ideal for a morning cuppa and with far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Wildlife is plenty and we regularly see deer, owls and woodpeckers. The second bedroom is a good sized twin room with a built in wardrobe. Having a young family ourselves, we have play equipment for little ones and we also have bodyboards that can be borrowed from us. Strands is safe for little ones to roam with over a third of an acre to enjoy. There is parking immediately outside the property and guests have use of the front and back gardens. We give guests full access to the front and back gardens and guests have a separate private area on our Mediterranean style sun lounge patio area outside the main annexe master bedroom. We’re available if needed but we want to give our guests the space and privacy to fully enjoy their stay with us. Strands sits on a quiet country lane with only 4 other properties. It is a short walk into the ancient village of Stratton (with an alternative river walk option) with the parish church of St Andrew, post office with shop and two historic pubs - both serving good food and a selection of local ales. A short 5 minute drive brings you to the popular seaside town of Bude and its many stunning beaches.
