Les Vignes Reines - West

Welcome to Les Vignes Reines! Our B&B is located in a wine maker's home from the 18th century, offering you a common dining room and living room. Outside, you may enjoy both the pool and the garden. In a renovated barn, juxtaposed to our home, four double rooms, each with their own bathroom and separate toilet welcome you all year round. Two of our rooms can welcome a third guest, incl. East. Prices include breakfast, and we are also happy to provide dinner upon request. This room, West, is our largest and most luminous room. With its high ceilings, view over the sun setting over vineyards, a place to sit and write and a comfy corner to relax in, West is perfect for longer stays, both in summertime and in the winter. You have your own private room, private bathroom and toilet. In the main house, you have access to a small kitchen and a common dining room and living room. Outside, you'll enjoy the pool, the terrace, the garden and the barbecue. This is a place for you to relax and switch off from daily life. If you desire, we'll be happy to advice you on treks to be done in the area, historical sites to be visited and fun day trips to head off to. A day trip away from the Landes forest, the city of Bordeaux, the Bay of Arcachon, the Dune of Pilat and numerous historical and cultural sites, Les Vignes Reines constitutes a good base from which to discover the region. In our opinion, its major asset remains its location among vineyards. From our home, you can head out on foot or by bicycle to visit the local vineyards. There, you can taste red, dry white or sweet wines, and learn about wine-making. Or you can chose to just stay by our swimming pool, and enjoy your favorite bottle.... We are 25 min away from Bordeaux' main station Saint-Jean, and 40 min away from Bordeaux' international airport Merignac by car. We can arrange an airport pick up if needed but we recommend that you rent a car for added comfort during your stay. You can also reach us by local train (TER) from Bordeaux' Saint-Jean station in just 18 min. Both the stations of Cérons and Barsac are just 5 min away by car from our home. Ring us in advance, and we'll pick you up! By car, take Exit 2 from the A62 Highway, follow the signs for Cadillac and Cérons, after 3 min, turn right and you'll be on our road: Moréou! This bed and breakfast is located in the midst of Bordeaux' vineyards, at the meeting point of wine districts Graves and Sauternes. You can easily head out by foot or bicycle to visit local chateaux and our B&B is a good base from which day trips can be done by car to Chateau d'Yquem, Saint Emilion and the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux.
