NOTE: A Pass-Sanitaire is a compulsory requirement for stays. Maison la Roche is a modernised and newly decorated historic town house. Situated in the medieval town of Trèbes on Canal du Midi and River Aude, surrounded by vineyards, just 10 minutes from the Cité de Carcassonne. Mediterranean beaches are an hours drive. A few hundred metres along the canal is the port of Trèbes with its many cafés and restaurants. This Standard Double Room 2 shares a communal bathroom with King Size Room 1. Bedroom Two has a standard double bed with wardrobe, writing desk and chair, and mid-century lounge chair. Tea and coffee making facilities and bottled mineral water is provided in the room. High speed free Wi-fi is available in the bedrooms. As well as the bedrooms guests can use the open plan living area and kitchen/dining space. Hi speed Wi-fi is available throughout the house. The house does not have dedicated guest parking but there are free parking places around the property and luggage can be unloaded at the property. Happy to advise on day trips, cafés and restaurants, wineries, etc. Situated in a quiet spot in the heart of the medieval town just 100m from the Canal du Midi which is excellent for walking or cycling (there is a cycle hire shop 25m away). It’s a five minute walk to the many cafes, restaurants and essential shops at the picturesque and lively port. Easy access by car or bicycle or walking. There are buses from Trèbes to Carcassonne which has a main line railway station and local airport. More airports are located within an hour or so including Toulouse, Montpellier, and Perpignan..
