Workers cottage, with views across 8 counties
As you enter under the archway into the courtyard you will be captivated by the charm of Warren Farm. This is a working farm run by James, Victoria and their son Fraser. Whilst you are here learn how we are restoring the land and creating a sustainable future for the farm. Leave your car and walk from here to explore the estate or relax in the cottage and enjoy the views. The cottage itself dates back to the 1700's and was originally part of an agricultural barn. On entering the cottage you'll be greeted by a surprisingly large kitchen, completed with all the tools you'd need to cook the perfect Sunday roast. Downstairs is also where the living/dining area is, you'll have use of the log burner during your stay which will be a nice comfort to return to after an early morning walk or a late night hike across the farm. The Workers cottage has two double rooms and two single rooms all with their own unique view of the farm and its surroundings. The cottage is on a working farm so there is always something to hear, see and smell throughout the whole year. It's up to you whether you stay in by the fire and truly relax or get out there and see what the countryside has to offer. Outside the cottage is your own courtyard, equipped with outdoor furniture to enjoy the summer sun. James, Victoria or Fraser will greet you on arrival and show you into the cottage. Once you are settled in we will leave you in peace, but we won't be far away should you have any questions or queries. Eating out There are many local pubs and restaurants to eat at but you will need a car to get about with. Walking Warren Farm is part of the National Trusts Brockhampton Estate and there are many beautiful walks from the farm. The farm also connects to the Bromyard Downs where you are free to explore this open common land. If you are lucky enough to come in the summer the wild flowers are beautiful. There is a limited bus service to Hereford and Worcester from the end of the farm drive. There are local taxi firms should you choose not to drive yourself We do also run a small (12 pitches) campsite on our farm, they share the same carpark as the cottage. Our campsite is quiet and idyllic and we encourage our campers to be the same.
