Lovely room with private bathroom in Whalley Range
Lovely, relaxing room in a quiet street in Whalley Range, on the top floor of a terraced house with access to a private bathroom on the same floor (not en-suite but you'll have exclusive use). You'll have a very comfortable queen size bed, a chest of drawers, a hanger stand, a small table and a kettle with coffee and tea. You are welcome to use our kitchen for simple meals. Free parking along the road just outside the house. Buses and trams to the city centre at walking distance (10-15 min). The room is on the top floor and so is the bathroom you'll have access to, so you'll have lots of privacy. The bathroom has just been renovated. Besides the stand with hangers, there's also space in a cupboard to hang clothes and keep other stuff. If you are travelling with an infant we can add a travel cot in the room free of charge. You'll have exclusive use of your room and of a bathroom on the same floor at the top of the house. The only other room on that floor is a study that is used from time to time during the week. You will have shared access to the kitchen and a living room on the ground floor and you're welcome to cook small meals of generally use the kitchen if you want to. We will generally be available for any support throughout the day, either at home or by phone. Walking distance to Chorlton where you will find lots of bars, cafes and shops and a great, lively atmosphere at night (and then come back to peace and quiet at our place!). Our house is also very close to Alexandra Park, where you can have lovely walks and relax at a little cafe. There's a Co-op and a Tesco store just under 10 mins away on foot and other cafes/takeaways in the same direction, and other grocery shops closer to home. It's a quiet neighbourhood with lovely people and the road where we live is particularly quiet and cosy. Getting to the city centre by tram takes around 40 mins, including the 15-minute walk to Chorlton tram station. You can also take the 85 bus, which takes you through the University campus and then to the city centre; the bus stop is only a few minutes away. The'res free parking along the street or in adjacent streets, We're an Italian family of three, with an 9-year old son. We're not noisy and we usually go to bed quite early. We enjoy travelling, music, wine and food. Our house is LGBTQ+ friendly and we welcome people from all over the world.
