Loft at Dominion Hill

Our largest suite located in the century-old Carriage House. The ground floor has a foyer, private bedroom with a Queen bed and 1.5 bathrooms. The second floor, with a cathedral ceiling and old wood beams has a kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, stove top and Keurig. There is a dining table, games table, and two sofas that convert into Queen beds, a large screen smart TV, and WIFI. The private deck overlooks the property with an outdoor pellet wood stove. Dominion Hill Country Inn is an historic estate offering comfortable accommodations, restaurant & bar service, and amenities that include WiFi, hot tubs, lawn games, fire pit, children’s playground, and hiking trails. The Inn is a property of beauty and rich history. Developed in the 1920s by the owners of the publishing empire that created The Saturday Evening Post and Ladies’ Home Journal, it provides a reminder of the past with all of the modern conveniences. Enjoying a Four-Star rating from Canada Select, guests can choose between suites, Manor House rooms, cottages, cabins and glamping sites. The dining room offers breakfast for all guests and a variety of dinner options. The surrounding area is filled with fun activities and places to see. Popular options including whale watching, fishing charters, golf, Kingsbrae Gardens, Ministers Island, museums, restaurants, pubs, shops and galleries. The Loft has a private entrance close to parking. The staff of Dominion Hill is available to provide assistance and answer any questions you might have. We are always happy to assist with reservations for activities (e.g., whale watching) or suggestions for things to do in the area. The Inn is located just off Route 1 (at Exit 39) a short drive from St. Andrews, St. Stephen and St. George, New Brunswick. The main border crossing into Maine is 39 kilometers (24 miles). It is not surprising that the area has been a favourite holiday destination for almost 150 years. There is so much to do – whatever your age or interests. Dominion Hill Country Inn is one of the only hotels close to Route 1 – the main north-south highway. This is a great convenience for people just passing through the area. Those who stay longer, start their day from a central location from which all of the area attractions can be found within 20 minutes in any direction. Breakfast is served buffet-style between 8-10:00 a.m. in our dining room. It includes an assortment of cereals, yogurt, breads, fruits, hot dishes, coffee, tea, and juice. There are always gluten free options and the staff can accommodate food allergies. Guests have 24-hour access to refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee and tea.
