Orfeas

I am living abroad and this is my house when I return to Greece. Thus, it is not a typical AriBnB unit. I continuously take care of it! In case you are interested to rent it, please contact and ask me for anything that I don't include in my offer here. I will try to satisfy your needs. Orfeas belongs to a housing estate with picturesque, traditional houses made of stone and dark brown timber. It is fully air-conditioned, it has heating and even a fireplace, which makes it comfortable for staying either in the summer or the winter. It is on the first floor of a two houses building and there is a big attic accessible inside the house. There is a balcony for lovely breakfasts in the mornings or coffee and drink in the late afternoon or evening. There is a living room and kitchen area, a bedroom and a toilet with a shower. In the living room there are two sofas in which an adult and a kid can sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, cutlery and dishes, while there is also a table with four chairs. The bedroom has two joined single beds and a wardrobe. In the attic there is a double bed and two separate single beds. It is a small but easy, comfortable house. The neighborhood is tranquil and neighbors are friendly and quiet. It is suitable for small families with maximum three kids. Located at the side of a little summer village, it provides the tranquility that a tourist is seeking, while it is not far from the center with taverns, cafeterias, bars, and organized beaches. Psakoudia is in the center of Halkidiki and provides easy access to either the most vigor and popular western peninsula of Kassandra, the fresh-aired, mountainous villages in the north, the magnificent, wild beaches at the east peninsula of Sithonia, and the spiritual, holy mountain of Athos and the eastern edge of Halkidiki. Thessaloniki is 50-55minutes far by car and, one can organize daily trips for shopping, city-touring, visiting museums, or even dining and clubbing. Owners will be present to give the keys at the arrival of guests and they are ready to help guests with everything that will bring them comfort. Clean bed sheets and towels can be provided upon request with a small charge. For long stays (more than a week) the owners will changed them for freshly clean ones. We can provide also information for the region of Halkidiki but also Thessaloniki and rest of Macedonia, possibilities for small trips, best beaches, nice taverns or graphic villages. Orfeas is located between the two most popular peninsulas of Halkidiki. In Cassandra (western) there is a lot of vigor night life and beaches. Sithonia peninsula (centre) is wild, green, offers the best beaches and small tranquil villages with nice tavern with good Greek seafood. Mount Athos peninsula with monasteries is accessible for visits by men only, but there is also the possibility for round trips with small boats from villages nearby. There is public transport from and to Thessaloniki. There is usually plenty of public parking outside the house. Thessaloniki Macedonia airport is one hour far. It is best to rent a car from the airport. Most of the time I will not be around and for this reason, my parents will deliver the house to you, along with keys, bed linen, and towels. They will need 5 minutes to explain to you a couple of things about the airco and the water, how/where to get yummy breakfast, fresh fish, or perfect fruits, they will smile at you and go. They will not disturb you but they will come to help you if you need something. Orfeas is not ideal for parties with many guests and loud music. I do not allow loud music for the simple reason that the neighbors are quiet and good. I love animals but I cannot accept them in the house. Moreover, I cannot be sure how friendly are the pets of the neighboring houses, or stray cats and dogs of the village. Please avoid many candles and oil-lamps. Never let anything lit while sleeping. My house and surrounding ones have many woody elements and there are several trees, so a forgotten candle can be a complete disaster for many.
