We are just a short walk from the heart of Foix, a lively market town in the Pyrenees, with its historic medieval chateau, traditional market, restaurants and pavement cafes. This listing is for one of our 2 ensuite rooms, 2 more share a bathroom. We offer both self-catering and breakfast options, breakfast is available for 6 euros each person. We have 4 bedrooms available within our B&B (each with its own AirBnB listing). Two are ensuite and two share a bathroom. There's also a guest living/dining area and an indoor and outside kitchen, terraced garden and pool. Hiking and mountain bike trails are right on our doorstep, and we’re within easy access of a variety of sporting activities. If on holiday with a young family, there’s plenty around to keep everyone entertained. Come and stay if you're looking to explore, get active in the mountains, or simply relax by the pool. Guests have access to the pool and garden which have lots of outdoor seating, a BBQ area and a trampoline and swings for children. There is also a guest living/dining room and indoor and outdoor kitchens. Our family is generally around although the guest area is separate from ourselves. Guests are free to interact as little or as much as they like. The Ariege is a beautiful area of France and in particular our little corner of it. The town of Foix itself has buildings from the 12th century and the castle is stunning. Plus we have fantastic countryside with hiking/biking trails, skiing, climbing, canoeing etc right on our doorstep. Foix train station is at the bottom of our road and we're happy to pick people up. The nearest airports are Toulouse and Carcassonne, both of which are around 1 hour away. Corinne teaches regular yoga classes in our small private studio. The classes are taught on a drop-in basis and are open to all levels. The environment is particularly welcoming to first-timers.
