Gardener’s Cottage is a peaceful retreat with its own private walled garden and off road parking, hidden away in the heart of St Agnes, a few minutes walk from the village centre and local shops and within walking distance of the beach. The comfortable accommodation includes a bedroom with a SUPER KING double bed which can be split to make TWIN beds, and en suite bathroom with walk in rain shower. There is a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area with wood burning stove, wi-fi and TV. This newly renovated, single storey cottage, comfortably accommodates 2 guests with one bedroom (choose king size or twin beds), an en-suite shower room with walk-in rain shower, a spacious living/dining room with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen complete with washing machine/dryer. The cottage has been tastefully decorated with quality furnishings and paintings by the artist owner. Electric panel heaters ensure a warm welcome all year round. 1 x KING SIZE BED or 2 xTWIN BEDS **The generous bedroom has zip and link beds allowing the room to be set up as a double with super kingside 6ft. bed, or as a twin with 2 x 3ft. singles. Please advise when booking.** The bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a small TV. PRIVATE WALLED GARDEN Guests at Gardeners Cottage have exclusive use of a private walled garden with garden table and chairs. There are 3 steps leading up to a raised lawn area. A large, lockable, garden/surf store room with 2 hanging rails and a clothes airer is available for guests to use which is great for storing surf boards, wet suits, bikes, walking boots etc. COVERED PARKING SPACE Whilst the cottage is attached to the owners residence it is independent with its own front door and direct access to the private garden. Allocated under cover parking is available on the large driveway shared with the owners. The parking area is at the top of a fairly steep driveway. There is a side gate which guests can use for pedestrian access to the village. Key box entry allows self check in, however, the owners are happy to offer any help during your stay, if required. Guests have access through the owners rear garden to the covered parking area and side gate to the road. Owners available by text or email to answer any questions or on site during your stay. Set in the heart of ‘Poldark’ country, St.Agnes is a large, friendly village community located on the picturesque Cornish North coast with stunning beaches and dramatic scenery. This thriving village has 2 small supermarkets, grocers, bakery, butchers, hairdressers, gift shops, art gallery, chemist, doctors surgery and even a vet. There are numerous places within walking distance of the cottage to eat out or get a take away/delivery. Walking is a popular way to see the local area so if you can it’s advisable to bring your walking shoes. There are regular bus services from the village to local towns and the city of Truro which also has a park and ride service. Beach parking and toilet facilities are available at Trevaunance Cove, Porthtowan and Chapel Porth (National Trust). No dogs living on the property but family dogs visit regularly. You may meet these friendly creatures when you park.
