There is 12V renewable off-grid electrics powering lighting, fridge with ice-cube tray, with USB charging points as well as a 240 inverter plug for the tech you can't live without. There's separate private bathroom facilities including gas shower and flushing toilet. There's a single hob indoors, and protected outdoor cooking area with double gas hob and workspace, bbq and fire pit so you can fully embrace outdoor cooking. We live on the farm and can be on hand if you have any problems, and are happy to recommend our favourite local businesses - otherwise we will leave you to you enjoy the privacy and peace of this exclusive location. The nearby village of Hartland is home to several great pubs, as well as village stores and post office. Nearby Hartland Quay is also a must-visit to enjoy a pint and some cheesy chips with a view of this amazing section of coastline. It's also a popular and beautiful swimming spot at high tide. Enjoy easy access to the South West Coastal Path, either by setting out on foot straight out the door following the green lanes down the valley towards the sea, or by driving to nearby Hartland Quay for direct access to the coastal path. You're also welcome to walk around the private farmland that the shepherds hut is situated on - we'll include some of our favourite routes in your welcome pack. If you're interested in surfing or bodyboarding there are plenty of RNLI lifeguarded sandy beaches within a short drive: Sandymouth and Bude to the south, or Westward Ho! to the North.
