Stunning 2bd hse, excellent base for London visits
A warm welcome from beautiful Strawberry (Website hidden by Airbnb) West London. Contemporary and traditional, a loved family home with three large bedrooms, fully functional kitchen, dining and living room, two bathrooms and a utility room with washing facilities. A generous outside living space accessed from the large open plan kitchen, perfect for guests to host their own gatherings of friends and family. Located just 5 mins walk from a mainline train station into London, and free parking at the property. There is a generous rear garden featuring a five seat sofa, dining table and additional seating. There is also access to a fire pit (logs are provided) and a large BBQ. Also a trampoline in the back garden that guest’s children (no adults) are welcome to use. The River Thames is a short walk away and can be accessed either at Teddington lock, or Twickenham and Richmond town centre. There is parking space, (across the drive) for one car that belongs to the property. Additional free parking is available in the property’s road. Ensure that you park within the bays marked out in white paint on the floor :-) When booking this property, you and your companions will have full access to all areas of the house, both inside and out. The rear garden and the garden furniture can be used by guests, there is a large outside sofa, a medium sized table and also two separate rattan stools, that guests are welcome to use in a responsible manner. There are covers for all of the aforementioned furniture, please cover up before leaving the house and/or when retiring for the evening as the weather is changeable. There is also a large, fully functional gas BBQ which can be used - this would be useful for larger groups that are staying during the summer months. There is also a fire pit which can be used in the warm summer evenings. We will ensure that there are some logs made available during the guests stay. There is parking for one car on the front drive for guests to use. But there is also additional free parking available in the road that the house is located on - in clearly marked bays. Please note - Access to bedrooms that are not required, due to the number of guests visiting the property, will be locked. The owner of the property will not be present when guests arrive at the property, and there will be special arrangements made once a booking is confirmed, to pass the property keys to guests. At the same time, I will make sure a nominated neighbour is informed of guests staying and, if any help is required, they will be able to assist. The neighbourhood is quiet and tranquil, and very friendly. There are several shop only 5 minutes walk from the house, which is very well provisioned, and it is located next to a lovely park which has a Cafe and a kids playground within it, aswell as plenty of grassland for picnics and ball games. It also has wonderful views of the River Thames and benches to rest on. Very close to the property is the well known Strawberry Hill house, which is visited by people from all over the country due to the extensive range of Gothic furniture and architecture that the house contains. The property is only a short walk from Strawberry Hill Station. This station is on the mainline into central London, terminating at Waterloo station. Depending on the train service that you catch, the direction that you travel and the time of day that you use the train service - guests can be in central London within 20-40 mins. Even closer to the property there are four bus stops that can take you to any of the key close towns such as: Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, aswell as the historical palace of Henry VIII at Hampton Court. Please note that when the property is not being used by guests that there are animals living in the house. So if guests are allergic to cat or dog hair, they should bear this in mind.
