The 20 House

Quaint two story home in the quiet Burgundy village of Arcy sur Cure. Recently renovated and tastefully furnished, this can be your home away from home. The air conditioning and heating make it a personalized and comfortable year round environment. For your convience there is a washing machine and iron, puzzles, games and books for your entertainment. The house is rented in its entirety and we are your neighbors during your stay. We are available to assist with planning and pointing in the direction of your interest. Bridgette is a chef and we are happy to provide dinner (for a fair fare) to those who wish. Arcy sur Cure is surrounded by some of the finest wines that France has to offer, notably Irancy, St Bris and of course it goes without saying, Chablis. For those who love to visit churches we are fortunate to have Vezelay on our doorstep as well as the St Etienne Cathedral in Auxerre. The most notable activity In our village are prehistoric caves, "Les Grottes d'Arcy", open April to November. Through the heart of the village winds the Cure river which is great for swimming and kayaking. There are great hiking trails as well as the Compestello walk for those who like to stretch their legs. Arcy is fortunate in that it still has a daily train service from Gare de Bercy in Paris.
