Harakeke Hill, near Motueka

Harakeke Hill is a modern off-grid accommodation. We get our power from panels powered by the sun. We have a back-up generator which runs if the sun is not strong or the batteries have had their power used. Wi-fi + the internet are easily accessible. We have solar heated hot water and we run all the usual household appliances. There are two bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with a King sized bed which can be separated to make two single beds. Breakfast is not included. We are close to the Abel Tasman National Park, Rabbit Island and Kaiteriteri beaches and family friendly activities. We are 10-15 mins from shops, restaurants and bars. Networks of trails are close by, as are many Wineries and local Artisans. You will love our place because of the beautiful views of the Mt.Arthur Range and peaceful surroundings. We are approximately 2 hours from the Rainbow Skifield. Lake Rotoiti is about one and a half hours away, great for swimming, kayaking, boating and water skiing.
