Located just 15 minutes north of Lausanne, this beautiful country house has a lot of character and charm and is ideally located to explore the entire region. Whether it's the lakes, the alps or famous Swiss resorts, all are easily accessible. Here you can relax and absorb the fresh country air, experience Swiss life and discover the many walking trails in the forest. The apartment is one section of the Villa. It offers a spacious lounge and dining room with a cosy fireplace and large, well equipped kitchen on the ground floor. The two bedrooms and a bathroom are located on the first floor. The house is surrounded by a large garden, which the guests can enjoy. Garden furniture and sun chairs, and barbecue can be provided on request. There is good selection of books in the gallery. Lausanne, Montreux, Gruyere and Geneva are all located within 10-40 minutes by car. Ski resorts like Gstaad, Diablerets and Verbier are within an hour's drive. Peney-le-Jorat is located a short 15 minutes drive north of Lausanne. The highway connection is only 10 minutes by car. The village is connected to the nearby towns by an hourly bus service during peak hours and reduced services in the afternoon, late evenings and weekends. Taxi and Uber services are available. Peney-le-Jorat is a small idyllic Swiss village, nestled in the heart of the Chalet à Gobet forest. 10minutes from the Ecole Hotelier de Lausanne. At an altitude of 844 m above sea level, temperatures are up to 5 degrees cooler than the city during summer. Whereas in the winter there is a lot of snow and sunshine.
