House is located in a quiet village between the fishermen's village and the picturesque cliffs of Blue Grotto. This is a double bedroom with a private bathroom and access to a kitchen, living room, terrace and garden, at 8, Radices House in Gudja. This is a 40 year old traditional house located behind the historic Palazzo Dorell, a huge palace which was built by the Knights of St John to provide a place where the knights could rest after their hunting events. Radices House has been newly refurbished and professionally redecorated with precious furniture, chandeliers and collectables mixed with new pieces of furniture to ensure that our guests fully enjoy the experience of living in an old Maltese villa. The common area has been restored to keep the traditional classic style of the house while the bedrooms have been equipped with new furniture to guarantee comfort and relaxation. We have been voted as Superhosts over again, because our guests have appreciated that we do our utmost to make you feel at home. Our guests may make use of a fully equipped kitchen and may relax on the sofa and watch Netflix, or they may sit on the terrace and enjoy the sun. Guests may relax and get some tan on the veranda. Beaches are very close (reachable by public bus) and so are the beautiful views of cliffs, the countryside, towns and cities, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We will always be here to help you with your itinerary and to see that you are fully satisfied with your stay at our beautiful house! We are very eco conscious and guests will be reminded to act accordingly too. We strive to keep our rates as low as possible whilst keeping a high level of cleanliness and comfort. Our room rates do not include breakfast because some of our guests have an early fight to catch; however, you will always find coffee, tea, sugar, milk, water, croissants and perhaps some fruit in the kitchen, to help yourself with. Our rates do not include the use of aircondition, laundry washing/tumble dryer/iron however, you may ask the host and we may charge you only a small additional fee of Eur3.50 per night for the use of aircondition (Eur3.50pn), Washing machine/tumble dryer (Eur3.50 per load), just to cover some of the water/electricity bills. You may hire a car and park free of charge near the residence (no parking problems here) or you may take the bus and go anywhere in Malta for cheap. The bus stop is right across the road. Otherwise, you may just walk to the airport and take direct buses to almost everywhere in Malta. We have had guests who experienced the beautiful scenery just be walking around the island. a typical quiet Maltese village full of history and culture.. frequent buses pass from across the street, heading to Valletta, airport, Marsascala and other villages on the way.. Very good restaurants and nice beaches at Marsaxlokk fishing village - 5 minutes by car from the house.. pubs, restaurants, beaches, bars, promenade along the coast etc at Marsascala, Birzebbugia, Marsaxlokk... Also very close to the popular bay of St Peter's Pool, Delimara! Host shall be very helpful to guide you how you can make the most of your time without wasting time and money.
