Affordable Waterfront Cottage

This waterfront cottage is situated on the beautiful Beaver Creek in Marmora, located in the Kawarthas. Fantastic view over the waterfront. The cottage is equipped with a fridge, stove, coffeemaker, microwave, water dispenser (bring your own jug), TV for movies. Propane BBQ, picnic table, patio furniture, bikes, outdoor toys for kids to use. There is also a fire pit and camp chairs available for use(bring your own firewood). Enjoy nature, listen to the loons, have a glass of wine on the front porch, and simply get away from every day worries. LOTS OF GREAT BOATING (bring your own boat or rent canoe or kayak from a neighbour), FISHING & SWIMMING FROM YOUR OWN DOCK. Entry to the cottage requires a key code. I will connect with you and provide the code in advance of your stay. The town of Marmora is less than 10 mins down the road and has LCBO, beer store, grocery, pharmacy, dollar store, hardware stores, Tim Horton, Subway, and a TD ATM. *Marmora is approximately 2 hours east of the GTA.* We do not provide towels/linens. Beds come with duvets and pillows. The second bedroom is only accessible by ladder. Water for the cottage is drawn and filtered in from the river so it is not potable. Guests are asked to please leave the property in the same condition as when they arrived. Guests must take all their food leftovers and garbage. All water toy accessories and furniture are to be put back in the shed. You can purchase firewood or rent a canoe or 2 kayaks from our neighbour Doug. Ask him for details.
