Both houses are renovated to make it confortable and cosy. The gîte is in back of the second farm. We live in the other farm, where you can use “table d’hôte” (if requested) Layout gîte: Central Kitchen (well equiped) Bathroom (with walk in shower) Toilet Living room (fireplace & TV) Bedroom (double bed 160x200) Via the former cowshed, now used as storage, you enter the gite You enter in the central bright kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with fridge/ freezer, induction cooker, microwave, coffeemaker & kettle. From the kitchen you have access to spacious bathroom with walk in shower and sink. When you take a shower you can see the cows on the hill. From the kitchen you also have access to the living room, with fireplace, Television, dining table and comfortable seating From the living room you go up the stairs (an old miller stairway) to the bedroom. There is enough space and garden furniture to enjoy the nature of le Sauget Linnen, towels etc are available We are available during your stay in the other farm of le Sauget. We can give you tips about thing to do of your interested in the area. There is a possiblity to use Table d'hote 2 x a week (after consultation) for €17,50 (entrance, main course, desert, wine and coffee) “Le Sauget” is situated in the "haute Jura'' in the middle of a protected nature. With many possibilities for hiking, mountain bike or walks in the woods in direct surroundings of the house. The impressive waterfalls the Herison and the lakes are at 15 min driving distance The Jura is well known for it cheeses f.e the Comte and Morbier Depending on your interest I can provide you with tips for (day) activities We recommend travel by car, because le Sauget is quite isolated in the middle of nature Geneve airport is approx 1 hour by car We have a dog The house is not suitable if you less mobile
