Studio Brasem at the Waterside

Sunny studio of 20m2 on the waterside incl. breakfast. Dinner on request. No kitchen, Private entrance, private bathroom-shower, toilet, bathrobes and towels. Wifi, TV, fridge, microwave, coffee and tea facilities. Scaffolding where you can have breakfast, swim and row. Near the A1- in 40 minutes by car in Amsterdam. The studio is located in a green new building district of Amersfoort. The supermarket is 15 minutes walk(1 km) A fast city bus no.2 to the center and central station. A light, sunny, and small (20 square meter) studio. The relaxing sunny terras is in front of your window and when you wake up you can see the water. Swans and ducks are often come and visit us. You have your own private bathroom with shower sink & toilet, and free use of the bathrobe and towels. There is a flatscreen TV, wireless internet, refrigerator, and coffee & tea making facilities in the room. In the large closet you find extra blankets, books, games, stationery, first aid box, sewing thing, hairdryer and iron. Guests can also dwell at the scaffolding with lounge chairs. If you bring your own bikes: Safe bicycle storing for 2 bikes is possible. There is a busstop (Waterdreef-Libelle) at 5 mintes walking from our house to the center-central station Amersfoort. Frequent and all-night train connections to Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Utrecht and other cities. Please note that you are NOT in Amsterdam. Amersfoort is a different city on a good 40 minutes train ride from Amsterdam Central Station. Train fare Amsterdam/Amersfoort is €8,60 one way. In the months July and August the studio can be rented for longer periods on request. Free parking in the street. You have acces to your own studio door and own bathroom. You can have breakfast and in your room or at the waterside terras between 7.30-09.00. U can use the waterside terras and use our boat for a little trip. You can store your bikes in our garage. If you want I can bring-and get you from the station for 10 euro. We live upstairs (private area) We like to help you on your way to have a nice stay and trip. We can bring you to the center or nearby and give you tips for your travel in Holland. Total privacy is free:) We live in a quiet green neighberhood. At 15 minutes walk there are foodshops in a small mall. A pharmacy, supermarket, general practitioner, drugstore, hairdresser, bakery, flower shop, takeaway-chines, and pizzeria. Easy traveling with public transport? The OV-chipkaart is the payment method for public transport in the Netherlands. If you carry an OV-chipkaart with you, you no longer need to think about strip tickets or metro tickets. You load credit onto the card in Euro or add a travel product, such as a single journey, a monthly pass for commuting or a season ticket. Advantages The OV-chipkaart has many advantages. You can view details of your travel online, you no longer need to queue for the ticket office and you can easily transfer to another form of public transport without having to purchase a new ticket. There is a busstop (Waterdreef-Libelle) at 5 mintes walking from our house and every 15 minutes there goes a bus to the central station. Train fare to Amsterdam is €8,60 one way. A good half hour's train ride from Amsterdam Central Station. We live close at the A1 highway and within 45 minutes (51 kilometer-32 miles) you are in Amsterdam by car. There is a car-rental in the neighborhood and it costs about 38-57 Euro. (cheap parking in Amsterdam: Parking-Center-Oosterdok: 12 euro for 24 hour. Oosterdokstraat 150 Amsterdam) If you like to rent a bike: Broers Fietsverhuur, Ouder fabrieksstraat 4, Amersfoort (Nieuwe Stad, close to the center/Amersfoort) You are staying in Amersfoort and not Amsterdam! The studio is the addition (20 square meters) at the right side of the house. There is free parking in the street and a free safe bicycle storing for your 2 own bikes. The use of the washing machine: 5 euro. This is only by ourselves to operate and you may give the laundry to us. No pets aloud. You can park for free in the street or surroundings. There is no kitchen in the studio and no sink for dishes. There is a microwave, refrigerator, Senseo coffee machine and a waterkettle. Breakfast is included and we deliver it at your studio door between 7.30 and 9.00 am. Please put the basket after breakfast in front of our door. We do the dishes, including the dirty dishes of crockery, glasses, cups and cutlery which you can use from the closet. At check-in and check-out we can pick you up and take you to the station for 5 euros per ride. The studio is located 8 km from the center of Amersfoort, which is 15 minutes by city bus and 15 minutes by car. By bike it is 30 minutes cycling.
