Casa della controra, recently renovated, is a 18century house in the heart of the historic center of Vaste, a small town in the south of Apulia where time seems to have stopped. The house is totally independent with 3 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, garden and large terraces. We are in a strategic point to reach in a few minutes the main seaside resorts such as Castro, Santa Cesarea Terme and Porto Miggiano, Porto Badisco and the charming village of Otranto. The nearest beach areas are 5 minutes away by car: the blue flag of Castro, the beach of Porto Miggiano and Santa Cesarea Terme. A 15 min instead there is the beautiful inlet of Porto Badisco, the small fjord of Acquaviva di Marittima and the green cave of Andrano. Upon your arrival you will find a small guide written by me with advice on places to visit and where to eat nearby. Guests have at their disposal the entire apartment with free parking, barbecue, independent bathroom with shower, hairdryer, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, aromatic garden herbs), relax area and dining area on the terrace I speak English and a bit of French. Casa della controra is located in via Santi Martiri 13, in the heart of the historic center of the small village of Vaste, 40 km from Lecce.   Vaste is a country of ancient warriors and peasants, very important from the archaeological point of view. The house is a few steps from the main square, Piazza Dante, where you will find a cozy bar set in the garden of the Baronial palace, the Museum of the Messapian civilization, the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie and 500 m the archaeological area of Parco dei Guerrieri.
