Riverside Cabin

Riverside is a lovely self contained compact space in our beautiful back garden. This brand new conversion is an ideal base for visitors as it is right next to the South West coast path. Set in the famous historical fishing village of Cadgwith and only 3 miles from Lizard Point.There are several lovely beaches close by, including Kynance Cove with it's stunning views, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are very dog friendly and have 4 of our own. We are happy to care for your dog if you want to go out for the day for a small charge.You are welcome to use the garden furniture and the barbecue for free. We are surrounded by footpaths in every direction, ideal for walkers. The hut is self contained and you will have sole use. There is a separate entrance at the side of our bungalow. We hope you will enjoy sitting out in the garden on the patio furniture. There are chickens and cockerels inside an enclosure at the bottom of the garden. There is a barbecue which you can use just provide some charcoal . My husband Mark and I live in the bungalow next to the cabin. We are always available for you to ask questions or for a general chat about places to visit etc. Apart from this we will leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace. If you're into fishing Mark will help you to find exactly the right spot. There is a very good tackle shop just up the road. I'm a Dog Behaviourist and I am usually available for individual training, behaviour advice or looking after your dog whilst you go off for the day. Cadgwith is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The famous Devil's Frying Pan is a 5 minute walk down the lane at the rear of the property. The Cadgwith Cove Inn is a short walk down the hill,they serve delicious meals and various local ales etc. There is usually some entertainment on offer too, including the famous Cadgwith Singers on Friday evenings.There is a local shop and Post office in Ruan Minor and a small shop in Cadgwith. The nearest Supermarket is in Helston 10 miles away. There are busses from Ruan Minor into Helston or Mullion, but they are not very frequent. We can usually provide transport to the station or the airport etc at good rates. Please note that we have dogs that may sometimes bark, although they will mainly be inside the house. Also Snow the cockerel does on occasion make a bit of noise in the morning. We hope they won’t disturb you but think it’s best to let you know in advance.
