'Cottage by the Sea' - Wilsons Promontory

This beautiful property is located in Yanakie, gateway to the world famous Wilsons Promontory National Park. This light filled Cottage sits on three blissful acres and has spectacular views across Corner Inlet and farmland and is only minutes from the gates of ‘The Prom'. The Cottage has been recently built with modern decor and is perfect for couples or a family. Wake to the sun rising over the water. This unique property is set on three secluded acres with panoramic views of the ocean. mountains and farmland from all rooms. The property also contains a main farmhouse where the owners reside. The two bedroom Cottage comfortably sleeps 4, with two good sized bedrooms. The queen room and a king room are perfect for two couples. The king bed can be split into two long singles enabling a family of four to stay. The main bedroom is perfect for a romantic weekend with spectacular views of the water and a brand new comfortable king bed. The large kitchen dining area has magnificent views of the ocean. The French Provincial style kitchen offers all the cooking necessities: microwave, large fridge with freezer, stove and oven. The lounge area has a TV, a split system air conditioner, a wood heater and also has superb views. You will find the Cottage is a haven to come home to after a day of exploring. It is set back from a quiet country road, brimming with native fauna and flora. Sit back on the verandah, take a deep breath and watch the beautiful flocks of birds flying overhead. There is a front lawn large enough for a game of football or cricket! Other inclusions are a BBQ, laundry facilities and the outdoor setting allows you to relax and share a meal in the most beautiful environment. Wi Fi is also connected There is plenty of parking. . Michelle and Craig live on the same road so are available for all your needs. Private Entrance ….only house guests are permitted on the property. Located ten minutes drive from the gates of Wilsons Promontory National Park where you will find some of the most pristine beaches in the world. If swimming is not your thing and it's hiking you like, the Prom has an enormous number of hikes on offer from short easy walks to overnight longer and more strenuous hikes. We are able to advise you on all these options. Nearby you can dine at the Prom Pizza and Cafe (2 min drive) or pick up supplies from the Yanakie General Store and Bottleshop (2 min drive). The quaint township of Foster is a short drive (15 min) where all your other shopping needs can be met. It is also an easy drive to Fish Creek to visit the cafes, artists or stop by the Fishy Pub to quench your thirst. There are also a number of excellent wineries, a cidery and a restaurant in the area. A bus runs from Melbourne to Fish Creek each day. We are reliant on tank water so we ask that guests use water wisely. The house runs on a septic tank system so please be mindful of what you flush.
