The house is staged across two levels, with the living and dining area downstairs. The lounge room leads out onto the full length verandah, where a large stone table encourages open-air dinners with a view. The kitchen comes fully equipped to whip up a delicious meal, with a double fridge, oven, stove, coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher for easy clean-up. Make use of the property’s BBQ for a true Australian feast. Spread out on the sofas and enjoy a spot of TV, and if you’re travelling during the winter, get cosy by lighting up the wall mounted electric fireplace. Both bedrooms are located upstairs, along with a second living area with books and toys to keep kids entertained. Here you’ll find a balcony and outdoor seating creating a scenic spot to sip your morning coffee. The spacious master bedroom is fitted with a king-sized bed and has its own TV and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a premium queen-sized bed, and both come topped with high-quality linens. Upstairs, there is also a dedicated study and an immaculate main bathroom with a bathtub. Downstairs, you will find a water closet with a toilet for your convenience. Complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer are provided for your stay. Guests will also have access to an internal laundry with a washing machine, dryer and clothes rack, adding to your holiday convenience. Parking is available in the driveway for two cars. It sits just under two hours’ drive north of Sydney and a short 30-minute drive from Newcastle. The suburb is bound by the lake on one side and Blacksmiths Beach on the other, making it an aquatic playground for families with boating, fishing and swimming. Start the day at hip local café The Captain & Crew, play a round of golf at Belmont Golf Club and enjoy a lakeside picnic at Pelican Foreshore Reserve. Nearby you can check out the historic mining village of Catherine Hill Bay, hike through the bushland of Wallarah National Park and explore the rock pools of Caves Beach. Parking: There are two free parking spots available in the driveway. There is also free street parking. Airport: Approximately 52 mins by car 2 hours by public bus.
