Recently renovated stylish self contained ground floor corner flat overlooking the beautiful Kendal Green. Just 10 minutues to the town centre and a stones throw from the Lake District National Park. Overlooking the beautiful Kendal Green, Greenview offers guests a quiet retreat within a stones throw of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park. Greenview is a newly renovated, self contained, ground floor flat with views over Kendal Green and within a short walk of Kendal town centre. It has full central heating and briefly comprises of one double bedroom, living/dining room, bathroom and kitchen. Included in the kitchen is a microwave, oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and gas hob as well a selection of cookery books should the mood take you, if not there are some great restaurants within a short walk. We provide tea and coffee, breakfast cereals, a pint of milk for your first night included in the booking. The bathroom has large power shower (you wont want to get out!) basin and heated towel rail. Also provided is a television and WiFi as well as a good selection of books and games if you just want to stay in and relax. In the bedroom we provide 100% cotton bed linen and down feather duvet all made up for your arrival. Parking is free and available anywhere around the the edge of Kendal Green. There is a parking space directly next to the flat which can be used for loading and unloading only. Outside the flat guests can enjoy the sunshine on Kendal Green or stroll into the town and explore Kendal's many coffee shops restaurants, cafes and pubs. We live a short distance away so are available if you do need anything. We love the Lakes and Dales and have spent many a family holiday exploring in our campervan, on our bikes or hiking and camping in the mountains so please do ask if you need any advice on places to go, things to see etc. We would love to help you make the most of your stay. Kendal Green is a quiet, sought after residential area overlooked by some of Kendal's grandest Victorian townhouses. Just 10 minues walk down Windermere Road will take you into the market town of Kendal full of quaint cobbled yards. Wandering round you will find some great shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs or if you are looking for something more cultural then the Abbott Art Gallery, The Museum of Lakeland Life or book into one of the many shows the Brewery Arts Centre has to offer. Kendal also has a range of festivals throughout the year including the world famous Kendal Mountain Film Festival. If you are feeling more energetic then a stroll up Kendal Castle or Scouts Scar will provide fine views of the town and it's close proximity to the Lakeland fells. Kendal has it's own train station which is about a 15 minute walk to the flat. The nearest mainline is Oxenholme from where a connecting train will take you the 5 minutes to Kendal station.
