You can reach one of germanys most beautiful canyons with wooden bridges and waterfalls in a few minutes by feet. The new renovated family-castle "Ehrenburg" is only 5 km far from the flat. At the end of the street you will find a nice playground for the children. The best way to reach the flat is by car. Public trasport is possible but the busses don't drive very often... Riding by bike is great because a cyclepath is very near.
