Luxury Retreat Mornington Peninsula

Welcome to The Poplars, one of the most beautiful rural properties on the Mornington Peninsula. This beautiful 4 bedroom century old farmhouse sits on 3.5 acres of grounds featuring a stunning infinity pool. Perfect for exploring the wonderful Mornington Peninsula or just relaxing by the infinity pool. Enjoy lazing in the sun with a glass of wine & a good book or lounge around on of the squashy leather sofas binge watching your favourites on Netflix. There is a huge master bedroom(king bed) and en suite, a further three queen bedrooms and a main bathroom. Apart from the main living room overlooking the pool, there is another cosy sitting room with an open fire and a country style kitchen with a generous dining table. During the warmer weather you will probably spend all your time around the pool & the outdoor lounging area. All the bedrooms have very comfortable beds with pillow top mattresses, upholstered bed heads and beautiful linen.We have used all natural materials and have gone for that really comfortable, modern country look. The kitchen has everything you would need with tasteful crockery, cookware and lots of wine glasses. You can pick fresh herbs from the garden if you are cooking. We have tried to think of everything that you will need for a beautiful holiday in the country. There are lots of place to sit and relax both inside and out. The sofas in the main living room are big and super comfy with lots of cushions and throws. There are books and jigsaws and cards. There is a smart TV with all the apps you need & great unlimited NBN. All bath towels and linen are provided. The house is beautiful of course, but the outdoor areas are possible even better. Our neighbours agist their horses in our paddocks & use our ménage for dressage practice, so you may see them looking after the horses, but the house & the pool are very private & they can’t see you. So there is absolutely no invasion of your privacy. The Mornington Peninsula is a little bit of Paradise just 55 minutes from Melbourne and we are right at the gateway to it. We are pretty much right in the middle of the Peninsula. It is a rural area so no coffee shops to pop out to. It is 15 minutes to Mornington if you are after safe swimming for children or 20 minutes to Point Leo if you are looking for surf. It is a 20 minute drive to the Red Hill market & a 15-30 minute drive to any of the wineries. The nearest golf course is the Devil Bend club just 8 minutes away and only 5 minutes to the famous Tyabb Packing shed antique centre. There are numerous places for horse riding very close by. From Melbourne take the Monash freeway & Peninsula link. Get off at the Mornington Tyabb turn off. It is 45 mins from the eastern suburbs and 50 mins from Brighton outside of peak time.
