A bohemian escape only 45 minutes from the city! Our one bedroom villa has a pool, banquet room, bedroom retreat, library and gardens that sing of the seasons. A place to wander. A magical sanctuary for those who see the world with artful eyes. House designed buy McLashen and Everest Even before you cross the threshold, Ttekceba Villa is a total experience unlike any other Dandenong Ranges accommodation. Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend getaway, wedding night accommodation, or simply a few days escape from citylife, Ttekceba is a place of fascinating beauty and exotic inspiration. Instead of just a cosy cottage in the Dandenongs, you can indulge yourself in a sublimely spacious self-contained villa, presented in a worldly yet distinctly personal style, complete with swimming pool. Romantics, artists, lovers of beauty and nature, find treasured experiences in this very unique country hideaway. Far reaching views over rolling hills to lakes and bays can be seen from the dining room and the garden. Yet the contemporary, architect-designed villa is barely visible amidst a glorious garden of indigenous and European plants. Like a gallery, the house is designed as a subdued backdrop for an explosion of creative expression, in this case, the owner's wonderful collection of mementos and furniture from her European ancestral homes and a life full of travel. Greenery inside and out, mirrors and glass, confuse the boundaries in this deliberately sensory space. Where no curtains obstruct the view. Bath is a Roman Style tub (accommodates two people) A fully equipped kitchen is waiting for you to cook up a storm. No freezer space available Please note, A Romantic Package is available for an additional $100.00 Romantic package Earlier checkin Later checkout French sparkling wine ( a personal gift from Veronika ) Strawberry and chocolate fondue Special breakfast Rose petals on the bed and in the bath and all of it in the romantic surroundings that Ttekceba is famous for And not to forget A China's money tree as a pot plant to take with you to bring you good luck and to remind you of your stay at Ttekceba Pool for your use only Romantic or celebratory package (extra charge) 7 ac garden Bush walks One small dog Negotiable No curtains but a 7foot wall around the bedroom for your privacy No freezer space available Wardrobes in walk-through to bedroom for private use only also The cupboards in the kitchen under the preparation area Directions once you are in the grounds of Ttekceba The property is on the end of Abeckett Rd in Upper Beaconsfield ( there are 3 Abeckett Rd in the area ) Once through the gate posts go straight on for 50 m through the large urns stay on the same level Go left on the fork in the road and follow the turning circle Park your car straight on where you see the white sine WOLF PARKING leaving enough room for other cars that may need to drive around (the postman) Once you parked your car go back to the front entrance between two stone lions and onto the front door You have arrived at Ttekceba Please give me a call 10 min before you are here and I will endefer to greet you by the stone lions If guests are interests in the history of the property or the 7 ac garden Veronika will take you on a walk through the history of these Mc Glashen and Everest designed house ( Haide Gallery) and give you a basket of cuttings to take home if you like some of the many plants that will grow in your garden 400ac of virgin bush looking to a lake (managed by Parks Victoria ) Views to Western Port and Port Philip bay's Kangaroos and wallabies in the garden A bird lovers paradise Unfortunately no public transport The owner, Veronika, has a love of animals as well as plants. Sadly the most exotic of her animals, a white peacock (above) was a victim of foxes some years ago. An abundance of more typical feathered friends stop in on their travels, including wood ducks, spoon bills, herons, rosellas, cockatoos, kookaburras, the list goes on... Several miniature shetland ponies call Ttekceba home and enjoy grazing through the garden when allowed. With 400 arces of pristine bush on one side, it's no surprise that native visitors appear quite regularly. Eastern Grey kangaroos and the smaller wallabies can visit at dusk, while echidnas, wombats and possums may be seen from time to time. Unwelcome guests to roses and citrus trees are a family of 5 deer. The powerful owl a nocturnal visiter on the roof sometimes scars guests with its loud footprints, being the the largest of Australian owl with 65 cm in hight and a wing span of 4 feet There are no curtains but a 3 m wall around the bedroom for your privacy
