(The gardens have been featured on Australian TV in recent years) Your accommodation has a comfortable King Size Bed, personal ensuite and is fully air conditioned. Your room boasts fine designer linen, quality towels,Bar Refrigerator, coffee, tea & ironing facilities, the bar-b-que is available if you wish to ‘fire up a feast’.There is easy access to your accommodation through the main residence OR a private path through the garden. The serene azure pool is set amongst cool plantings of Mangos, Lychees, Bananas, Gingers and Palmtrees, and is designed for your own private enjoyment. A self serve Continential Breakfast of fresh tropical fruit, baguettes/croissants & muesli for your enjoyment on your deck or in the garden. Tabu is located 10 mins drive from the airport and 15mins from the city centre of Cairns, set in the leafy rainforest of Freshwater. Local community shops, which include an exquiste french artisan bread & patisserie are easily reached within a short quick walk. Tabu is situated a 3 minute walk from the Freshwater Station which is your hop on point for the famous Kuranda Rail Journey We are always in the main residence if you need any assistance. Many guests hire a vehicle during their stay but if you like, there is a bus that connects to central Cairns and the Reef Marina. The bus can be caught at a stop about 3 minutes down the road from Tabu and takes 15 minutes to get to Cairns central. The hop on point for amous Kuranda Rail is also only 5 minutes down the road from Tabu.
