A lovely detached rural barn with walks on the doorstep and Regency Cheltenham only a short drive away. We are surrounded by stunning countryside, award winning country pubs and picture postcard Cotswold villages. The barn has a spacious and social open plan living area with one double and one twin bedroom. Bi-fold doors open onto a private patio with a professionally landscaped garden and lawn area. We are pet and child friendly with the enclosed patio area, lawn and a further fenced orchard. Thanks for looking at Yew Tree Barn. It is in a lovely area in the middle of the stunning Cotswold countryside while still only a short drive or bus journey to Gloucester or Cheltenham. The barn is detached, and entry is via a key box so we can follow social distancing at all times. The barn is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between stays following Airbnb’s checklist. We also provide additional cleaning and disinfectant spray in the barn for the use of our guests during their stay. The barn accommodates four people with one double and one twin bedroom with a great social open plan living space. All bedding and towels are provided. The kitchen area has an oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave and cooking utensils. The lounge has a TV, a dining table with four chairs, and two sofas. Please note that the bathroom only has a shower. We provide a selection of games, tourists guides and walking books on the local area. Outside there is a secure patio with table and chairs which is accessed by bi-fold doors with fantastic views up towards Birdlip Hill. Beyond the patio is a lawned area and orchard available for dog walks. There is free off-road parking right next to the barn for a maximum of two cars. If you need extra parking, please contact us before your stay, and we will try and accommodate this. We supply a welcome pack which consists of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a sweet treat to settle you in. The barn is pet friendly, and your four-legged family members are very welcome. We are close to the Cotswold Way, and there are many walks on our doorstep. There are lots of walking guides in the barn for you to borrow. A travel cot can be made available, please request when booking. Bank Holiday weekends are a minimum 3-night stay (Fri, Sat, Sun) Stays over Christmas are a minimum 3-night stay with (24th-26th). Guests have access to the property private patio and gardens. We live across the drive and you can have as much or as little interaction as you wish. The barn is situated just south of Cheltenham in the middle of the Cotswolds. Cheltenham has lovely restaurants, shops, theatres and many festivals each year including the famous Literature and Jazz Festivals. There is also a race course which is host to the Gold Cup in March each year. In the local area there are many stunning Cotswold towns and villages such as Cirencester, Tetbury, Broadway, Stow-on-the-wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton on the water, Burford, Chipping Camden, Painswick and Bibury. The Cotswolds is fantastic for walking with over 5000km of footpaths and rights of way. If you enjoy a challenge there is the Cotswolds Way and Thames Path national trails. If you prefer cycling there is something for everyone from flat gentle towpaths to challenging escarpments. Only half a mile from our barn is Flyup 417 which offers 100 acres of off roading in a unique bike park. If you like a bit of history then there are many historic houses and castles to explore including Snowshill, Newark Park, Woodchester Mansion, Kelmscott Manor, Sudley and Berkeley Castle. Animal lovers will not be disappointed with the Cotswolds Farm Park, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Cotswold Falconry Centre or Crocodiles of the World.
