A comfortable and relaxing holiday home with beautiful garden and stunning views of rolling Cornish hills. Built as a granny annex but entirely self-contained with it's own entrance, it sits on the edge of a traditional Cornish village, providing a quiet, rural stay but facilitating an easy exploration of all that the West Country has to offer. Within walking distance of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A spacious living room has large south-facing windows with lovely views and access to the dedicated garden space. Double bedroom with kingsize bed. Second bedroom with 3-foot bunk beds. Bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash basin and raised toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge (with ice box), dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven. Private, sunny garden with table and chairs for outside dining. Access to grassed play area for small children, with slide, swing and climbing frame. Rotary clothes driers (shared). Help-yourself herb garden. Accommodation suitable for people with limited mobility. One shallow step to front door and ramp available. Situated in Cornwall but close to Devon, the location is ideal for exploring both counties. Walk down ancient lanes from the door. 3 minute walk to a pub, general store and Post Office. Convenient for A38 to Plymouth (shops, cinemas, National Aquarium etc.) and further into Cornwall. Regular bus service through the village. Dedicated off-street parking space. Use of freezer and tumble drier on request. There are two bee hives in a fenced-off area of the hosts' garden, 20 metres from the bungalow. We do not accommodate pets.
