Friday to Friday bookings throughout the summer! Haven is our family home located less than 2 miles from beautiful Salcombe. We built this home in 2010 and it has a wonderful modern and homely feel. The space is ideal for families and groups that enjoy entertaining, it is open plan kitchen/living room with a lovely snug lounge area. The house is wonderfully light and sunny all day. Ideal for families and large groups there is a Kitchen/dining/sitting area with bifold doors that open out towards the back garden, as well as French doors that open out towards a the front garden with BBQ and outside seating area. We have a chef in the family so you will find the kitchen is well equipped with a range oven and gas hobs, dishwasher, two fridges and a wine fridge, breakfast bar, boiling water tap and dishwasher. There is a 48 inch apple TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and the usual TV. Integral fire for winter nights. Sung/Lounge area with french doors out to the garden, there is a large apple TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and the usual TV. Integral fire place for winter nights. Master bedroom with King size bed, TV and far reaching views with estuary glimpses, there is a beautiful ensuite bathroom with bath and wet room. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, built in wardrobes and is next to a bathroom with a walk in shower. Bedroom 3 has a king bed, built in wardrobes, French doors to garden where you can enjoy a glass of wine or tea on the patio. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds Bathroom with bath and shower. Parking for 2-3cars. We have a lovely enclosed garden which is safe and well fenced for both dogs and young children. We have a gas BBQ and a fire pit for the long summer evenings. On arrival to Haven, I will meet you to show you around and get you settled. I am happy to recommend places to go and things to do, and will be available to answer any questions. Haven is located in the village of Malborough less than 2 miles from Salcombe. The property is situated on a private lane, there is parking for 3 cars. Malborough itself has a well stocked Co-op for all your essentials. A small farm shop located in the post office, a fabulous park for the kids and two popular pubs 'The Old Inn' and the 'Royal Oak'. If you enjoy a walk or cycle there is a path that connects Malborough to Salcombe (approx 2 miles). Salcombe is an incredibly popular picturesque sailing town and is home to fabulous beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants. Malborough is a perfect location for exploring the area. There are so many wonderful beaches close by, South Milton Sands is 2 miles and is a stunning sandy beach with a great little restaurant called The Beach Hut, they serve fabulous seafood as well as coffee, ice cream etc. Hope Cove is only 2 miles, there are two lovely beaches as well as 'The Cove' bar/restaurant (amazing for sunset). We are so close to The South West Coast Path, which is a great way to explore the coast. Kingsbridge is 5 miles, Totnes is 15 miles, Dartmouth is 15, Plymouth is 24 miles. Malborough is 2 miles from Salcombe and there is a bus that links Salcombe to Kingsbridge stopping just up the road in Malborough. Or there is also a cycle path that links us to Salcombe. If you want to see the local area I would advise you have a car. There are so many little spots around the South Hams that are only accessible by car. We are so close to The South West Coast Path, which is a great way to explore the coast. Kingsbridge is 5 miles, Totnes is 15 miles, Dartmouth is 15, Plymouth is 24 miles.
