Anacleto House is an ancient Salento House, with high ceilings and typical tuff vaults, completely renovated, consisting of two bedrooms, one double and one smaller with bunk beds, a large living room with a sofabed, kitchen and bathroom. Furthermore a small courtyard with a shower and a table for breakfast, beautiful terrace with gazebo, tables, chairs and barbecue to make your stay unforgettable. It is located at the center of a small rural village just two miles from Santa Cesarea Terme , a charming town known for its thermal baths and the magnificent cliffs in white tuff on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Adriatic coast. As soon as you arrive, you'll forget any thought and enjoy the peace of a village in the Salento countryside a few steps from the sea. From here beautiful walks or bike rides through the olive trees all the way down to the sea. Only note the deafening sound of cicadas. If you do not like the bike or want to go further, the availability of a car will let you visit the beautiful towns of the Adriatic and Ionian coast and inland. From here, in fact, in just 20 minutes you can reach Otranto, Gallipoli in just over half an hour and Santa Maria di Leuca, just 35 km. Right in the middle of this farming village where time seems to have stopped, only a few tens of meters from the house you will find a supermarket, bars and pizzerias. A few kilometers outside the restaurants. Ideally it would be possible reach the House by public transport, but in practice it is better to have a car even for trips and outings. Ultimately the pictures you will see will not make the slightest part of the beauty and uniqueness of these places. The area is not directly served by public transport. Santa Cesarea Terme, including Cerfignano that is far from there for just 2.5 km, is quite well connected. But it is definitely better to have a car that will serve you well for trips and excursions that you decide to do. Santa Cesarea Terme is located in the extreme part of the Salento peninsula, between Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca, on the Adriatic coast. It can be easily reached by car, train and even by plane. By Car: Coming from the north of Italy you have to get to Bari through the Highway A-14, from here exit at Bari Nord and follow the signs Brindisi-Lecce. At the entrance of Lecce out on the east ring road and follow the signs for Maglie-Santa Maria di Leuca, bringing in this way on the freeway Lecce-Maglie. Exceeded Maglie find the exit Santa Cesarea Terme, continue for about fifteen kilometers following the signs. Nearby Santa Cesarea Terme will find directions to Cerfignano. Coming from Taranto it is however necessary to reach Brindisi and from there down to Lecce because the road is smoother. By train: to reach by train Santa Cesarea Terme the reference station is Lecce. Once in Lecce the location can be reached either through the service of Railways South East, up to Poggiardo, or by a shuttle bus service specially organized in the Summer time. By Air: The nearest airport is the Brindisi airport which is about 50 km from Lecce and 90 from Santa Cesarea Terme. From here you should rent a car and head towards Lecce and then follow the signs to Santa Cesarea Terme. Nearby Santa Cesarea Terme will find directions to Cerfignano. The house is right in the center of the village at 30 m from the mother church. You park your car for free parking in the square just in front of the house.
