A quaint, homely space in the beautiful village of Jagatsukh, 6 kms before Manali town on Naggar road. Our home is a 60+ yr old home made of mud and stone in the local style. While our family lives in this home and we'd be happy to give you a tour of it. We have 2BHK built next door for guests in order to ensure you get your own private space when you stay with us. With our own little farm on the property, we pride ourselves on serving your fresh food with our locally grown produce. It is a two bedroom space with 1 shared bathroom, perfect for a family of 4 or friends who do not mind sharing spaces. There is a living room with cosy sofa's and chorten's (local floor seating for you to relax and longe and have meals. There is a small kitchen fully equipped with a water filter, stove and some basic utensils and ingredients to make tea/coffee. The space is simple and kept very minimal with large floor to ceiling windows, for you to be able to enjoy the natural surroundings. Bedroom two has an incredible view of the gorge below. Since we have a small farm on the property, we grow most of our vegetables throughout the summer including apples. Apple orchards, fields Our family lives on the property and are there anything you might need and available to help you out with booking cabs, guiding you on local hiking trails around etc. But we prefer to keep out of the way of our guests and not intrude on your time here. Our home is being slightly away from the main road, offers you the right kind of quiet and peace that one might crave for coming from a busy city. We have a local dairy, that produces some fine artisanal cheeses that we recommend you go try when you are here. Along with a exquisite, historic temple and friendly village folk who are always here to help, there are some beautiful hikes that you can go for around the village and even hike to the nearby hot springs of Kalath. Our village Jagatsukh is 6kms (an easy 20 mins) before Main Manali town on the left bank road, also known as Naggar road. Getting to and fro from Manali town, is easy as you can get rickshaws, taxi's and even local buses to come to Jagatsukh. Our home is a brisk 5 min walk from the main village market. on the day of your arrival, we will be happy to guide you and even come to the main road to receive you.
