Welcome to Old Road Cottage! A characterful, quirky, 19th Century cottage situated on the edge of Neath market town. 5 minute walk from the doorstep, you can explore the wonderful nature reserve of Eaglesbush Valley or a short 10 minute walk into town to visit Gnoll Country Park or Victoria Gardens. We are situated in an ideal location close to the M4 corridor. Perfect for those day trips away to the beautiful Gower beaches, Brecon Beacons, Cardiff, Tenby... the beauty spot list is endless! Perfect central, location for those looking to explore South Wales, right on the M4 corridor. Enjoy the open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen living, with exposed stone work in the older part of the cottage. Eat at the breakfast bar whilst overlooking the courtyard garden with views of Drummau Mountain. Why not try and griddle Welshcakes on our large Rangemaster Cooker in our fully equipped kitchen. Choice of a powerful rainfall shower or a deep bath to finish your day. Outside, you have access to a large basement that can be used as storage (all possessions are left at guests own risk - does have separate key). Within the basement, you have outside seating, BBQ and a games table. Our courtyard garden has its own veggie patch where you can help yourself to lettuces, tomatoes and of course...leeks! Free street parking to the front or to the rear of the property (Rockfield Terrace). Self check-in with lockbox.
