Welcome to Lakefront Residence, an idyllic country retreat on the edge of a secluded lake just 35 minutes from Auckland. With 3 bedrooms, generous living flowing onto amazing decks, and a gorgeous tree-lined setting it’s the place to recharge batteries for up to 10 special friends. Kids will love meeting horses or kayaking and fishing on the lake. Or start your plans for a boutique wedding in a venue that’s as serene and beautiful as the bride. ROWDY DRINKING PARTIES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. There is a spacious living area with an open kitchen, vaulted pine ceiling and floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors on all three sides. There are three bedrooms for guest access, each of them has floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. Two of which are lake-facing and can access the lake directly from the room. The lake is completely private to the 20-acre property, the guests will enjoy total privacy and exclusive access to the lake. The lake-facing deck is perfect for yoga, meditations and get-togethers. At night time, stargazing is simply wonderful with hardly any light pollution. Guests have access to the three bedroom house as well as the private lake. There is one room located next to the carport which is locked and guests will not be able to access. Our aim is to make sure you have the best stay possible. Our 20-acre lakeside retreat is 35 minutes drive from Auckland CBD and 45 minutes drive from Auckland International Airport. Pointers for activities outside the estate: -Woodhill Sand Equestrian Center is just down the road -Tree Adventures for adrenaline junkies - climbing and ziplines in Woodhill forest -Parakai Springs Hot Pools and Skydive Auckland (Best skydiving in North Island) -The Muriwai black sand surf beach and Gannet Colony is just a 15-minute drive away. We highly recommend horse rides on Muriwai or Pakiri beach up North -Closest town centers are Helensville and Kumeu respectively. Town centers have chain grocery stores (Countdown/New World), cafes, petrol stations and bank ATMs -Recommended food vendors •The Tasting Shed - an award winning restaurant •The Real Bread Project - for excellent pastry •The Pie Shop - for famous NZ pies •West Supply Coffee - for tasty Kokako coffee •Hapunan - the famous Filipino food truck •Hallertau Brewery - for craft beer experience -We are within close proximity to some of the popular vineyards and wedding venues, such as Markovina Vineyard Estate, the Hunting Lodge Winery, Kumeu Valley Estate, Soljans Estate Winery, Settlers Country Manor & Gracehill Vineyard Estate -Kumeu Film Studios is within 15 minutes drive A rental car is highly recommended for getting around. Children will need adult supervision near the lake. Outdoor surveillance is in place to ensure safety of guests. It will only be checked when accidents have been reported. As this is a farm there will be someone visiting the paddocks of the property to feed and look after the animals (horses & birds). They will not need to approach the house nor will disturb your stay, however, you may see them around.
