Property is perfect for all types of getaways whether it be a peaceful weekend away or a base for the many adventures that the region has to offer. The property can sleep 8 guests offering 3 bedrooms, 2 with Queen sized beds with the 3rd room containing 2 sets of bunk beds. With impressive views from every room. Expansive living and dining area with wood fired heating (all firewood will be supplied for your stay) smart TV, DVD player, books and games. Fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences including a Nespresso coffee pod machine. 2 bathrooms both with free standing showers (sorry no baths - though a baby bath is at property of infants) laundry with a washing machine and a mud room perfect after a day of adventures. Air conditioning has also recently been installed in the central living area as well as all 3 bedrooms to ensure guest comfort during the summer months. Outdoors you will find a bbq and a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows! With plenty of seating around the fire pit for everyone to enjoy! Property also has excellent 4G phone reception with self check in. Whilst the fire place is the main source of heating there are electric heaters in the 2 bedrooms that are furthest from the lounge for your convenience in the colder months. Your hosts are father and daughter Mick and Sarah. With Mick living just down the road and often available should guests need anything. Guests will enjoy the peacefulness of the property whilst having so many options of activities to do in the surrounding areas. Perfect base for bush walking, boating, fishing and water skiing on the lake or bring your bikes and enjoy riding along the great Victorian rail trail, spanning 134km in length and passing through Bonnie Doon. Your door step to the high country with Mansfield a 30 min drive away offering restaurants, cafes, and a monthly farmers market. Wineries also in the area with Delatite Winery a 40 minute drive. An hour and 20 minute drive to Mt Buller resort offering skiing in winter and downhill mountain biking in summer. With plenty more attractions on offer in the area such as the Mansfield Zoo and annual events such as the Alpine Targa Rally. Over school holiday and peak periods a minimum 4 night stay is required.
