The Servants' Quarters
Top floor apartment within a large 3 storey Victorian house on one of the best residential streets in Ulverston. Ideally situated within a one minute walk of the shops, restaurants and pubs of the town. Originally the servants' accommodation - hence the name - it consists of a lounge/kitchenette, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchenette has a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and dining table. Access is through our family home and back staircase. The staircase has 32 steps, so not suitable for those with mobility problems. Guests should note that cooking facilities are NOT available save for the toaster and microwave. We anticipate you will want to eat out. However dining facilities are available for take away meals etc. Iron, ironing board, hair dryer provided. Cot and high chair available upon request. Games and books provided. A further toilet on the ground floor is available to guests. Your accommodation is self contained, so you don't need to see or hear us unless you want to. We anticipate you are here to see the sights of the beautiful Furness peninsula and southern Lake District and we are happy to advise you on day trips, walking tours etc. Quiet residential street, a stone's throw from the heart of the town. Easy access to Hoad hill. Family park within 5 minutes' walk Trains and buses serve the town. Car owners will find limited parking on the street but there is a free public car park within 2 minutes walk. Secure shed available for cyclists' bikes etc.
