Casa Edera provides a tranquil setting for those wanting to relax whilst enjoying the living landscape. Throughout the year the villages come to life offering culinary delights, music, medieval tournaments and markets. Casa Edera is a Traditionally built stone house featuring beautiful tiled ceilings and chestnut beams. The property features an En suite bathroom with all bed linen and towels provided, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. A portico runs the full length of the property providing a shaded dining area in the heat of the day and a comfortable space for enjoying a glass of the local wine in the evening. Casa Edera is a detached cottage complete with stunning views of the Sibilini mountains from the bedroom balcony, a portico for outside dining and a sun terrace for relaxing. Hi we are Terry and Caroline, Casa Edera was our holiday home for many years, since deciding to move to Italy permanently we have renovated and moved into a farmhouse on site, where we are on hand to answer any questions and provide local knowledge. Centrally located to explore the Sibilini mountain range, national park and Blue flag beaches at the coast all within a short drive. The area is ideal for the outdoor pursuits of walking, and mountain biking with stunning scenery at every turn. During the summer months the villages come to life as the Festa season gets into full swing offering culinary delights, great music, medieval tournaments and markets. For those seeking a more leisurely break the area is steeped in history where Medieval villages adorn every hilltop some dating from the 12th century, many have restaurants offering their own unique style of Marche cuisine. where you can relax and enjoy a glass of Prosecco amidst the stunning views of the countryside. The nearest airport is Ancona Falconara situated 68km from the property. The regions capital Ascoli Piceno is 18km away. Bakery and coffee bars 5 mins in car and there are a number of reasonably priced restaurants within 15 mins drive. Whilst Caroline is slowly reclaiming the land around the property, Terry is fulfilling a lifelong ambition teaching watercolour. Ever wanted to learn to paint? then come and give it a go, you will be inspired! An introduction to watercolour painting course can be arranged, tailored for novices or experienced artists wanting to try this medium. guests have been blown away by the peace and tranquility of our home and the beauty of the area.
