The Tetbury Annexe

In the Cotswold town of Tetbury a 10 minute walk from shops. Newly built 1 bedroom annex with separate living room, kitchen and sunroom. The Annexe is attached to the main house however has its own front door for entry. Bedroom has double bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, full length mirror and open wardrobe. The Annexe is self contained with kitchen, sun room dining area, living room, bedroom and bathroom. There is a patio outside the sunroom with furniture for guests to use. The living room has a lovely high ceiling giving it a light airy feel. There is a smart TV for guest use. Please note smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property including garden. Pets are not allowed. The Annexe Tetbury - Covid - 19  At the Annexe we pride ourselves in our clean and welcoming accommodation (just check our reviews)  During this difficult time we are all aware of the steps to take to keep ourselves and others safe, however for your piece of mind the following are the  precautions we will take in addition to our normal high standards of cleaning. Firstly, please could you be kind enough to let us know should you have any symptoms before, during or after your visit. Or if you have been in contact with anyone with symptoms. After the government’s recent announcement on the further localised lockdown restrictions, we request, for the safety of everyone, that you check before travelling that you are able to do so.  Arrival – a self-check in procedure will be send to you prior to your arrival. Surfaces and touch points – All surfaces and touch points will be wiped over or sprayed with anti bac / disinfectant products after the usual cleaning process.  Please note the effect these products have on surfaces can look a little smeary not like our usual sparkly clean, but this is unavoidable when using these products. Crockery – We will load the dishwasher with the basic requirements for your stay, run the dishwasher and leave it closed and loaded for you, we hope that this gives you confidence that these items are freshly cleaned.  The remainder of crockery and pans are available as usual in the cupboards and as usual they will be checked for cleanliness. Soft furnishings – these will be sprayed with a disinfectant spray  Bedding and towels – bedding and towels will be washed in the highest temperature possible for the fabric and a disinfectant fabric treatment will be used in the wash. Anti bac wipes and surface spray will be found in the kitchen and bathroom to use during your stay and as you leave. On checking out of the annex please could you fill the dishwasher with any dirty crockery and cooking utensils and turn it on.  Please check all doors and windows are locked securely so we can leave a reasonable amount of time before we enter the property to clean. Check in from 1600 and check out by 1000. I hope this all reassures you that everything possible is done to ensure you have a safe and happy stay. Tetbury is a traditional cotswold town with a variety of coffee shops restaurants pubs. You can shop for everything from antiques, boutique clothing and bikes to stylish cosmetics and perfumes. There is a market held twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays where you'll find locally grown fruit, vegetables and eggs, vintage homeware and craft sellers. Tetbury highstreet is home to The Prince of Wales' Highgrove shop. Highgrove house is a 5 minute drive away and opens seasonally for garden tours, dinner and afternoon tea. There are a number of beautiful walks you can take right from The Annex's doorstep and we'd be happy to provide recommendations and directions. Tetbury hosts a weekly 5k part run every Saturday morning which is free to enter. There are a number of places to visit near by including: Westonbirt Arboretum - dog friendly walks, adventure playground and cafe. Malmesbury - home to Dyson HQ and WOMAD Festival. Cotswold water park - man made beach, fishing, waterskiing, zorbing, stand up paddle boarding and climbing. Cirencester - 'The Capital of the Cotswolds'. A large market town with a variety of shops and events. City of Bath - beautiful historic city home to Roman Baths and Thermae Bath Spa . Cheltenham home to the famous Cheltenham Race Festival and Jazz Festival. We're perfectly located for a number of wedding venues near by including The Great Tythe Barn, Chavenage House, Kingscote Barn and The Matara Centre. Everything you’ll need in Tetbury is walking distance. Tesco - 5 minute walk Tetbury high-street - 10 minute walk The Royal Oak Pub - 5 minute walk 10 minute drive to Westonbirt Arboretum 10 minute drive to Dyson Headquarters 45 minute drive to city of Bath Kemble Train station is a 10 minute drive from Tetbury and links to London in under 90 minutes and Heathrow airport in 2 hours. Garden is private however there is a patio with furniture available for your sole use during your stay at The Annexe. Parking for 1 car available right outside the front door of the Annexe. car charging available with prior agreement and additional charges apply depending on car being charged. We do not allow pets to stay at The Annexe. Early check in available if there are no guests staying the night before at a surcharge of £10 payable on arrival. We have implemented additional cleaning measures as a result of Covid 19 and due to this have ammended our check in times. This allows us the time to ensure The Annexe is sparkling clean and fully sanitised prior to your arrival. Our cancellation policy has been updated as we have experienced a number of last minute cancellations recently. We are always happy to be flexible and make ammendments to bookings outside of this policy when we can, please feel free to get in touch to discuss.
