This charming and extra - spacious ancient house is 2 floors, with two big fireplaces, a shower, a wonderful bath with tub and two living rooms. Strong WiFi connection. Excellent views on the green valley and Monte Cetona. It's also close to parking and to the road that you may follow into the fields. HOUSE. Downstairs: Living room with comfortable seating and traditional well functioning fireplace; dining area (up to 6 seats) and fully equipped kitchen. Full bathroom with big shower. Door opens directly to via della Piaggiola. Upstairs: Master bedroom; full bathroom with tub; second bedroom with comfortable sofa bed (sleep two persons). Second living room with seating and writing desk. EXTRA FEE: Cleaning fee of 40 E. is due. From October to May a daily fee is due for heating. Wood for fireplace is not included. PARKING: The public parking is free of charge and it is located just 100 meters away from the house. It is a non-monitored, well-lighted and safe. SERVICES In the main square of Cetona you can find all kind of public service as the tourist office, the Post Office, the Internet point, a minimarket, a bakery, a butcher, a tobacconist, a kiosk, a wine shop, two fruit and vegetable shops and two banks.The two café terraces are the meeting place for all the villagers, you can savour there a delicious ice cream or have an evening aperitif. In Cetona there are three very good restaurants offering the typical Tuscan cuisine and a great choice of local wines. Per your request we would be happy to give you further itinerary and suggestions of the “ten must to do things “ in the area. THINGS TO DO: The area offers many different activities: With beautiful nature walks you can take a break and enjoy the beauty of this unique part of Tuscany and its harmonious natural sites.The area offers good indoor and outdoor SPAS where you can relax and revitalize yourself. Lots of great food and wine experiences and culinary adventures... We have many suggestions for you :-) OUTDOOR MARKET On Saturday the town square has beautiful cheerful town outdoor market where you can purchaise fresh fruit, vegetable, cheese and pasta. SOME SUGGESTION: To completely enjoy the beauty of the area, we highly recommend to rent a car (in case you were not coming with your own one). You can easily reach the towns of Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Firenze, Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto by car. If you come by train the nearest railway station is Chiusi-Scalo. Then you can reach Cetona by bus or taxi.
